How Inclusive Leaders Manage Difficult Conversations

Purpose

The purpose of this development offering is to help individuals understand the benefit of preparing for and undertaking crucial conversations. They will be provided with the opportunity to reflect on their current practice and be given tools to help them have more impactful conversations in the future.

Objectives

On completion of the curriculum participants will:

  • Understand the link between a culture of inclusion and the ability to have mutually beneficial ‘high-stakes’ conversations
  • Have been able to identify their current approach to crucial conversations and learnt about alternative more productive approaches
  • Have been provided with a tool-kit for communication that they can apply immediately back in the work-place
